Baker Tilly in Nigeria announces new Senior partner

Mr. Solomon Oluwole Adeleke, who has been the Senior Partner of Bakertilly in Nigeria (the Firm) since 2018 retired from the partnership and the firm with effect from 21 August, 2020 when he attained the age of 65 which is the set retirement age. Solomon had worked in the firm for 4 decades.

Mark Edesiri Ariemuduigho (Mark) succeeds Solomon as the Senior Partner of the firm in which category he leads all the operations of Baker Tilly in Nigeria, a firm with 4 operational locations and with a staff strength of over 160 committed people in its employment. Mark was admitted into the Partnership of the dissolved firm of Z.O. Ososanya & Co. since 1993 and was a founding Partner in the firm of Oyelami Soetan Adeleke & Co. which merged with Aneni Dairo & Co. in 2008 to become Bakertilly in Nigeria. He has been serving clients for almost 4 decades before attaining the position of the Senior Partner. Before now, he has been the coordinating partner for the firm’s Lagos Office operations.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and an associate member of the Institute of Management of Nigeria. He has served ICAN in several categories some of which include being an Examiner of ICAN examinations and a member of the Professional Practice Monitoring Committee of the Institute. He is also an Associate member of Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN), a member of the Forum of ICAN Members in Practice (MIP) and the secretary of the Small and Medium-sized Practitioners.

He hopes to lead the firm to take advantage of opportunities in the Nigerian market and also to build a stronger firm known for the provision of quality and satisfactory professional services to Clients locally and internationally.
